After 35 years of steadfast service to Prestonwood Baptist Church, Executive PastorMike Buster begins a new journey of life in retirement.We are so grateful for Mike, who has served faithfully, tirelessly and diligently –leaving behind an indelible mark on our church.We are forever grateful to Mike and the legacy he leaves. Dear Prestonwood Family and Church Staff,
Serving at Prestonwood these last 35 years has been an incredible honor and privilege. We have seen God do“immeasurably more than all we asked or imagined, according to the power at work within us.” It has been a greatblessing to work under the leadership of our Pastor, serving as your Executive Pastor for these three-and-a-half decades.Now God has led us to start a new chapter in our lives. As our friend Zig Ziglar would say, “not to retire, but to refire.”
While I will no longer serve as your Executive Pastor, I will be your friend and coworker in serving the Lord. Joanie andI will remain at Prestonwood and continue to be a part of the greatest church in the world. We would not want to missbeing a part of the bright and flourishing future of our church.
We are filled with gratitude! We want each of you to know how much we love and appreciate you as we continue to fixour eyes upon Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
