Support Groups

There will always be times when you just need a little help and hope, and one of our greatest traits as a church family is that we stand together in support of each other during times of trouble. We have ministries to aid those who are facing tough times, and we’re firmly committed to helping in any way we can.

Support for Those Who Are Grieving

Support groups and individual counseling are available at the Plano Campus for those who have suffered the loss through death of someone they love. Please call 972-820-5112 for details on any of the following groups.

GriefShare Class

This group meets every Tuesday for 13 weeks at 6:30 p.m. at the Plano Campus. GriefShare is a video/workbook series produced by H. Norman Wright with Christian leaders and laypeople sharing their stories and how they reconciled their grief to their lives.

For more information or to register, please call 972-820-5112.

Support for Those Caring for Others

Memory Care Support Group

Special Needs Network Group: Onward and Upward

You are invited to meet with us monthly on the fourth Sunday (excluding holiday weekends) after the Worship Service for lunch at the Onward and Upward table at Main Street Cafe at the Plano Campus (no reservation required). This forum, offered through our Special Needs Ministry, is for those who have family members with special needs, and helps provide information, ideas, resources, positive coping strategies and effective interventions. Lifelong relationships are formed as families fellowship in these monthly gatherings.

XChanged Life

Connection Room (Room A210-211)

XChanged Life is a spiritual process that delivers hope and support to anyone who seeks a life free from the snares of sin, suffering and pain. It is designed to help you exchange agreement with lies with the trust in the truth of God’s Word.

Embrace Grace

Tuesday Nights

Embrace Grace is a support group and Bible study for single and pregnant girls. Girls, the father of your baby may be involved or you may be completely on your own. Either way, we are here to help. We want to come alongside you and cheer you on! We’ll help you meet a lot of your needs, but more importantly, you will make lifelong friends with other girls going through the same situation as you. Join Embrace Grace and we will even host a baby shower for you! Be brave and just show up. Embrace Grace is a powerful yet simple study on how God’s grace and love is never-ending, no matter our past or what we’re going through now. It offers hope to the hopeless and brokenhearted who have found themselves with an unplanned pregnancy.

For more information or to register, please e-mail [email protected]. Childcare is not available. Materials are provided at no cost.
