Our pursuit is to PROCLAIM the testimony of what God has already done through our Prestonwood Baptist Church North Campus; to PROCLAIM what He is doing right now; and to PROCLAIM what we know He will do in the days and years to come.
$10 Million Project Total
As 2023 unfolds, our Prestonwood Baptist Church North Campus family is beginning an amazing journey to build on our past by looking expectantly toward our future.
The Lord led us to this region in 2006 – planting our church on a beautiful parcel of farmland in the center of a thriving area that was projected to experience explosive growth. We have shared the love of Christ and ministered well in our community for these nearly two decades and we now find ourselves in the center of the population boom.
Did you know that in the Prosper, Frisco, Celina area, there are only 46 Gospel-preaching churches serving a population of nearly 285,000? And the population growth trend is rising as our communities include two of the five most active housing markets in North Texas, and school districts are expected to experience an average increase of more than 12 percent in the coming years.
With such incredible growth comes a critical need in our church, already bursting at the seams, as we’ve seen a 30-percent increase in average worship attendance in the past year. Because we serve a big God, we are launching a big initiative with a big vision to proclaim the Gospel to more and more unreached and unchurched families.
We pray you will take part in this initiative – PROCLAIM: A Testimony To All – to help meet the needs of our growing church family and to prepare for those who are not yet here. We need more space, more parking, and a technology upgrade. All are necessities required to prepare for the booming growth and establish our permanence in this community we love.

Worship Center Renovation
Much-needed renovation in the Worship Center includes an updated stage area and other facelifts throughout, as well as the addition of 500 seats – helping accommodate our growing congregation by bringing the total seating to 2,000. Consider that in 2022, we experienced a 41.7-percent increase in our Easter Worship Service attendance and a 30-percent increase in our Christmas Worship Service attendance.
Technology Upgrade in Worship Center
To upgrade the worship experience, all audio-visual technology will be updated to keep up with needs and technological trends and includes new screens and new cameras for streaming.
Conversion of the Entire Second Floor, including Office Space, into Additional KIDZ Ministry Space
Existing office space and all classrooms in the Education Building will be converted to KIDZ Ministry rooms to help meet the needs of this dynamic and fast-growing ministry, which increased 54 percent in one year. The space will allow for 400 to 500 more kids over the next three to five years. Staff members will move to offices in a building across the street from the church.
Additional Parking
The addition of some 300 parking spots at the northwest corner of the property will allow for better traffic flow on Sundays, a more welcoming experience for guests as soon as they drive onto the property, and more space for activities during churchwide special events.
