You cannot explain the Gospel without discussing Jesus’ selflessness; His great love for you motivated a series of sacrifices that led to the Cross. In a world desperate for advancement and hardened by self-preservation, the God of the universe willingly emptied Himself – for you. And now you have the great privilege to model your life after His, living each day in a posture of sacrifice for others. Your mind operates like Jesus when you humble yourself to God and think of others before yourself. Sacrificing your resources and comfort is perhaps one of the most powerful parts of your daily witness.
