His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Psalm 112:2
God has given you a precious gift! To celebrate and come along beside you, we conduct three Parent/Child Dedications each year. If you wish to participate in a Parent/Child Dedication, we ask that you preregister online or call the Preschool Ministry Office at your campus.
Plano Campus: 972-820-5335
North Campus: 972-798-6733
This is a special celebration for parents to gather with family, making a commitment to raise their child in a Christ-centered home. During the scheduled Worship Service, you will have an opportunity, along with other families, to stand before the church and celebrate the gift of your child. There will be a specific time in the Worship Service when parents make a public commitment before the congregation and then the people of Prestonwood commit to support these parents as they raise their children to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ.
Due to the number of parents and babies involved, we ask that only the child being dedicated and his or her parents be in the preparation area or on stage. There is not enough space for other children, grandparents, relatives or nannies.
Following the dedication, you will be provided with a complimentary family photograph and e-mailed a link to the portion of the service in which you dedicated your child.
View our Parent/Child Dedication booklet. (NOTE: There will not be reserved seating for family members in the Worship Service.)
Dedications are during Worship Services at both campuses.

Parenting Class
Our primary focus is on children 2 years and younger. However, we consider each family on an individual basis.
Yes. We want to do all we can to encourage your walk with Christ. As a church family, we desire to be a part of your extended family. If you want to participate in a dedication and would like the support of your parents or another family member, we will gladly discuss this with you before the service to provide guidance on how that person can take part.
Yes. All parents must attend one Dedication Class at Prestonwood. Once parents attend the class at Prestonwood for a child, they do not have to attend again for other children.
For those who are expecting a baby, congratulations! Prestonwood wants to begin ministering to your family even before your baby arrives. We are a dynamic congregation, with people from all over the North Texas region who have come together for a common purpose—to study God’s Word, to worship Him, to do His work, and to reach the world with the Gospel message.
We unapologetically value six core areas in the life of our church. Together, these shared values identify who we are, rally us toward all that we desire to accomplish, and unite us in fellowship.
