Wedding Receptions

We are excited that you are considering hosting your wedding reception here at Prestonwood. All receptions must be held in conjunction with a wedding ceremony at Prestonwood and scheduled through the Director of Weddings. Our Wedding Ministry is committed to making your reception unique and memorable.

  • The Commons – Existing tables are utilized for guest seating. Standard table arrangements are determined by the number of guests. Receptions may be scheduled based on churchwide events; please contact the Wedding Ministry for more details.
    Capacity: up to 300 guests
  • Fireside Room – Furnishings may not be removed from the room or rearranged. Upon request, a few bistro tables may be added for mingling. If necessary, the adjacent East Hallway may be utilized for small food buffets. Receptions may be scheduled based on churchwide events; please contact the Wedding Ministry for more details.
    Capacity: up to 75 guests

Policies

  • Receptions are two hours in length, and a Wedding Coordinator and Reception Coordinator will be there to assist during your reception.
  • You are allowed up to three dances to include:
    • Bride/Groom Dance
    • Father/Daughter Dance
    • Mother/Son Dance
  • All music is pre-approved for the three dances or the background music to be played during the reception time.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed and smoking is not allowed inside the building.
  • All food must be provided by an approved full-service outside caterer.
  • Cakes can be brought in from an outside vendor.
  • Effective September 2023, receptions are available for church members only.
