Faith Chapel, which seats up to 550 guests, is designed to reflect a feeling of casual elegance conducive to creating a comfortable worship atmosphere. One of the signature features is the barrel ceiling, which is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also adds to the great acoustics of the room. Alabaster pendant light fixtures with complimentary wall sconces on the side columns complete the finishes in the room. The 14 stained glass windows, designed by Roger Hogan, create a picture of God’s love for us and the Fruit of the Spirit given to believers. The front external window represents Jesus Knocking at the Door, the center internal window represents Love, and the side windows represent Holiness, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control, Grace, Hope and Mercy.
The Fireside Room, which can be set up to seat approximately 60 guests for a wedding, will accommodate a smaller, more intimate wedding. The bride and groom can use the candelabras also used in Faith Chapel for their ceremony. For more information on room setup and options, see the Wedding Ministry.
The Gazebo setting is ideal for outside, small wedding ceremonies. There is no special setup; the couple and family stand for the wedding ceremony surrounded by the fountain and beautiful cross. This area is only for Prestonwood members.
The base of the cross has also been used for beautiful ceremonies, and you are not limited to just the Gazebo, but you may also use the surrounding area.
