Why Give to the Proclaim Initiative?
An Opportunity to Bless
14 For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” —Esther 4:14
The office of the king sent out a proclamation that the Jewish people were to be eradicated on a particular day. Esther, a Jewish woman herself, had been elevated to the position of queen and was seemingly the only one who could sway the king’s mind and reverse the order. In their conversation, Esther’s uncle reminded her that if she remained silent, God would still accomplish what He set out to accomplish. The Jewish people wouldn’t be destroyed. However, Esther wouldn’t be a part of the process, and who knows, maybe this is the very reason she was placed where she was when she was. Esther had the opportunity to make a difference and perhaps even the responsibility to join the movement of God and make an impact.
PRAY
Father, You are powerful, and Your will is always accomplished. Help me recognize opportunities You have equipped and placed me to be a part of. I want my days to have a kingdom impact.
ACT
Take a prayer walk (or drive) through your neighborhood. Pray over the neighbors you know and those you have yet to meet. Pray for their needs. Pray for the salvation of the souls who live in the homes you pass and ask the Lord to bless the expansion and renovation of the North Campus to introduce many more to the Gospel message. Thank God for placing you in this community and allowing you to be a part of something as special as the work at the North Campus.

We are a dynamic congregation, with people from all over the North Texas region who have come together for a common purpose—to study God’s Word, to worship Him, to do His work, and to reach the world with the Gospel message.
We unapologetically value six core areas in the life of our church. Together, these shared values identify who we are, rally us toward all that we desire to accomplish, and unite us in fellowship.
