Why Giving and Generosity?
Embrace the Mission
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” —Matthew 28:18–20
The last words of Matthew’s Gospel are as much for you as they were for the 11 disciples. You have a mission to accomplish: Make disciples. Like a soldier with orders, Jesus’ instructions provide clarity and structure to the choices you make. In everything you do, you are called to redeem your time and resources to introduce as many people to Jesus as you can and help them mature in Christlikeness. Through your job, friendships, finances, hobbies – in all things, make disciples.
Father, what a privilege it is to have a divine purpose for every day. I desire to make disciples and expand Your kingdom here on earth. Give me wisdom about the opportunities You have presented in which I might introduce more and more people to Jesus and equip them to live in obedience. Amen.
Share your testimony with someone close to you; perhaps your children and spouse – share who brought you to Christ and how the conversation changed your life. Pray together that God will use you this year in a big way to bring the Gospel to as many as possible. Specifically pray that the expansion at the North Campus will help you and your church to make more disciples.

We want to help men, women and students recover from emotional, physical, relational and spiritual wounds through the power of Christ. Through classes, small groups and individual discipleship, the Life Recovery Ministry will help people pursue, overtake, and recover a life of peace and purpose.
We are a dynamic congregation, with people from all over the North Texas region who have come together for a common purpose—to study God’s Word, to worship Him, to do His work, and to reach the world with the Gospel message.
We unapologetically value six core areas in the life of our church. Together, these shared values identify who we are, rally us toward all that we desire to accomplish, and unite us in fellowship.
No matter which campus you attend, you’ll find warm smiles to greet you; vibrant, worshipful music to lift your soul; and powerful teaching from God’s Word that will transform your life.
