Why Give to the Proclaim Initiative?
Opportunity to Encourage Others

24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. —Hebrews 10:24–25

Encouragement is found at the North Campus. Consider how the Lord has used your church family to help you through difficult times, lift you up in prayer, and act as your cheerleaders. The author of Hebrews suggests that believers who isolate themselves are on the road to distress. Through connection to the local church, a Christian will thrive; in the church community, brothers and sisters challenge one another to love and good deeds. Who couldn’t use an influence like that?

PRAY

Thank You for the brothers and sisters at our church whom You’ve used to encourage me through the years. I pray that I, too, will be an encouragement to others and a catalyst to help them grow.

ACT

Pray God would bring to mind families you know who could use encouragement. Send a text or make a call this week and invite them to church. Use the expansion of the North Campus Children’s Area and renovation of the Worship Center as a reason to call – exciting things are happening, and you want these friends to be a part of it.
