We praise God for an incredible Women’s Ministry Retreat, “The Time of Your Life!” on March 28-29. More than 725 women—the largest turnout ever—enjoyed an extraordinary time of fellowship and worship, and learned godly direction for their lives from guest speaker Lisa Harper.
Best-selling author and guest speaker Lisa Harper delivered a message, “Life Comes at You Fast,” encouraging the women attending to take advantage of God’s accessibility because perfection is not a prerequisite.
Associate Minister of Music and Worship Rick Briscoe and the Praise Team led worship at the Women’s Ministry Retreat.
Prestonwood Director of Women’s Ministry Debbie Stuart shared her heart for God and women, leading the “Time of Your Life.” Debbie also led a breakout session on “Control: Get a Life! I’ll do it my way,” explaining how often times God does not speak because we will not listen.
Touching on the topic, “It’s About Time,” Women’s Ministry Retreat speaker Julie Choate gave the women direction for making their lives more biblically-centered.
The Women’s Ministry Retreat offered 12 breakout sessions, covering topics from passion to forgiveness to disappointment and love, to help women grow in their spiritual walk.
