A truly moving moment at PowerLunch: Jon Gordon, author of the book The No Complaining Rule, acknowledged the inspiration of 7-year-old Prestonwood member Conner Cruse, who has been undergoing treatments for neuroblastoma cancer for three years with “no complaints.” Gordon stated, “Conner isn’t complaining. Why should we?” Pictured along with Jon Gordon and Conner are his parents, Tait and Joy Cruse.

Jon Gordon discussed his motivational books at the final PowerLunch before the summer break. Afterward, he signed copies of his book, The Energy Bus, at the Main Street Bookstore.
Minister to Young Marrieds Chris Kouba introduced speaker Marc Rylander at a recent PowerLunch.
Prestonwood North Campus Pastor Marc Rylander challenged those present at the June 3 PowerLunch with his topic, “Living Beyond Your Circumstances.”
