The Student Ministry kicked off Reach Weekend with the Dodgeball Tournament. Minister of Student Worship Jared Wood and Minister of Students Chris Lovell explained the rules.
Twin brothers and former NFL players John and Guy Earle were guest speakers.
More than 1,000 “dodgers” had a great time playing, and also heard a message, followed by a time of prayer. Fifty students made life-changing decisions.
Though rains from Hurricane Ike forced the tournament indoors, the energy and enthusiasm of the teams was not dampened.
