A mom and daughter took in the effects at Spectacular Weekend on April 19-20.
Nearly 4,000 children and preteens enjoyed the high-energy fun that included entertainment by special guests Miss PattyCake (on stage), pureNRG and After Edmund.
Brightly costumed Miss PattyCake led children (ages 2-kindergarten) in fun learning activities with Bible stories, puppets and songs.
Children at Spectacular Weekend played crazy fun games and competed for prizes, including the big giveaway—an iPod for the child who brought the most friends.
New Christian pop band pureNRG entertained children (grades 1-6) with wholesome and uplifting music and lyrics, promoting Christian values.
Preteens (grades 4-6) listened to the sounds of After Edmund, known for its fresh look on gospel, soul and jazz music.
