Tell the Story...
There’s just one way to describe the life,
death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. It is, quite
simply, the Greatest Story Ever Told. And this year, in every
aspect of ministry at Prestonwood, we will tell it to our
church family, our friends and neighbors, to our region
and our world.
Of course, telling people about Jesus has always been
our mission—“to glorify God by introducing Jesus Christ
as Lord to as many people as possible and to develop
them in Christian living using the most effective means
to impact the world, making a positive difference in this
generation.”
All of our ministries are founded on that mission
statement, and it drives our church and PowerPoint
Ministries and our evangelistic outreach across America
and around the globe.
But our aim this year is to Tell the Story in very
personal and applicable ways. We will tell stories of
changed lives within our church family, about salvation
and renewal through our Lord and Savior.
Over the last year, through Beyond All Limits, we’ve
literally laid the groundwork for sharing the great truth of
God’s plan for salvation.
The Saunders Children’s Building will help us bring
God’s love to the youngest in our church family and to
those with special needs, helping them to grow in their
walk with the Lord. At Prestonwood North, the walls of
our permanent campus are tipping skyward, a testimony
to the faith of our people to reach into that thriving region
with the Good News of Jesus Christ. And using the latest
technology, PowerPoint will carry that news to every part
of the world.
This is our obligation, our Great Commission from our
Savior.
