Amazon Outreach
Since 1991, hundreds of Prestonwood members have traveled down one of the most majestic rivers in the world while working with
local Brazilian pastors to evangelize unreached people groups in northern Brazil. Opportunities include evangelism, medical and
dental care, Vacation Bible School, showing The Jesus Film, encouraging spiritual development of families, and strengthening existing
church works.

Colombia
God has provided an opportunity for Prestonwood to reach its arms of Christian love, service and ministry to this wonderful
country. This opportunity involves ministry to the displacados or displaced peoples of Colombia – working alongside career IMB
missionaries to do personal evangelism with the goal of church planting. We will be working in
Bogotá, Colombia. You can expect to work with children, teens and adults in the midst of the displacados those
forgotten people forced to migrate to the cities in order to survive.
Parintins, Brazil
For the past five years, people have traveled to the city of Parintins (population: 100,000) from all over the world to participate in
the “Festival of the Bull”—an extremely pagan and demonic carnival celebration in a city-provided stadium. The stadium, which seats more
than 30,000, was built for the sole purpose of housing this annual event. On mission trips, the stadium may be used for massive rallies
and crusades as a way to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ministry opportunities include personal evangelism, encouraging fellow believers, and serving the local evangelical churches.
