Sarah Baty
Clarinet

Sarah Baty, a native of Nacogdoches, Texas, began playing the clarinet at age 11. Her passion for performance and teaching led her to complete her undergraduate degree in music education at Stephen F. Austin State University where she studied under Dr. Christopher Ayer. She has performed in numerous semiprofessional ensembles in which she was granted the positions of principal and co-principal clarinetist.

Sarah began teaching other clarinet students while still in high school and since then, she has desired to share her knowledge and talent with others.

Sarah currently lives in Addison with her husband, Rick, and their 6-month-old daughter, Rowan Elizabeth.
