Job and Resumé Bank
The Prestonwood Career Transition Ministry provides a centralized Job and Resumé Bank for individuals who are unemployed or seeking a job change. Located in the library on the second floor, the purpose of the Job and Resumé Bank is to facilitate the process between those looking for employment and those in a position to hire. It is available in the library during regular hours of operation.
If you are looking for a job change or looking to hire:
- Send your resumé for inclusion in our Resumé Bank or send your job posting for the Job Bank to
jobbank@prestonwood.org.
- During regular hours of operation, view the Job Bank (located inside the church library), which includes employment categorized by job type, or view resumés of potential candidates for employment.
- View job postings only online at
prestonwoodfoundation.org. Click on “Career Transitions.”
Career Direct Guidance Testing
The library also offers the Career Direct Guidance System to provide testing to help job seekers profile their job skills and vocational needs. Please call the library or e-mail us to make a reservation for testing.
Career Transition Class
Prestonwood hosts a weekly Career Transition Class on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This free class helps those seeking a change in employment by teaching job search techniques, and providing a forum for sharing job leads. This eight-week class meets in Room A210-211.
