Have you ever learned a second language? Some try Spanish, some French, others German. But have you thought about what it would be like to learn sign language?
Every Sunday, people from the deaf community come to worship at Prestonwood. Although they cannot hear you say hello, they can certainly see you smile. The deaf community is one of the largest unreached people groups in the world. The heart of the Deaf Ministry at Prestonwood is to see the deaf community come to know Jesus Christ as Savior, begin growing in their relationship with Him, and take that same message to their friends and family. We seek to create an atmosphere where this is possible, whether it is through Bible Fellowship, interpreting the Worship Service on Sunday morning, or gathering together for fellowship during the week. Don't take somebody else's word for it. Come check it out for yourself!
An American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter serves weekly in the Sunday 11:00 a.m. Worship Service. Please sit in the front-right section of the Worship Center (Section 310).
