April 19-27 (Chrissie Dunham)
The Amazon River stretches more than 4,000 miles and is the source of life for more than 30,000 villages. Life is lived off the land: no running water, no electricity, and no access to the Gospel. The villages are dependent on the river for life, but are without the true life, Jesus Christ. Join other Prestonwood members on a journey down the river as you engage these unreached villages with a message of hope. Plant your roots in a village as you begin to understand and build relationships with these people—day in and day out—that you may continually return with the message, and fruit of the Gospel. Teams will focus on discipling villagers, conducting Vacation Bible School, and providing medical and dental care.
