The Bible teaches us to provide for widows (widowers) so they can live to serve God. Prestonwood wants to be a vehicle to assist our widows and widowers with needs such as the following:
- Light bulb replacement
and light fixture repair
- Smoke alarm/battery replacement
- Mattress turning
- Minor caulking and touch-up painting
- Minor sprinkler repair
- Window washing
(ground-level exterior only)
- Gutter cleaning
- Fence repair (replacing boards)
- Wheelchair ramps
- Cabinet repair
(hinges and knobs)
- Furnace filter replacement
- Toilet seat replacement
- Minor faucet repair
- Picture hanging
For those who are homebound, we can also provide such services as:
- Personal visits
- Telephone calls to provide encouragement
- Information for services offered by governmental agencies and nonprofits
