KIDZ Ministry - Welcome Home

As we look ahead to Worship Services this weekend, we are excited that LifeGroups are back for all ages, including students in grades 1–6! Reservations are no longer required for infants through kindergarteners.

Safety Procedures

1. All KIDZ Ministry workers will undergo temperature checks before entering their respective classrooms. All leaders will be wearing a mask. All students are encouraged to wear a mask.
    
2. Our Facilities/Housekeeping Ministry will continue, as always, to clean and disinfect each classroom before use.
    
3. Our Facilities/Housekeeping Ministry will wipe down all common/shared areas during the Worship Service times. Family sitting/view area furniture will be wiped down between services. After each service, housekeeping will utilize disinfectant-filled electrostatic sprayers and/or fogger machines in each classroom, as well as mothers' nursing rooms, baby buggies and open KIDZ Ministry spaces (when spaces are empty of children and families).
    
4. Social distancing protocols will be implemented as much as possible (chairs are prearranged; activities are adjusted for distancing). Pre-registration (infants–Kindergarten only) will allow us to limit the number of children in each classroom. Check-in badges will be printed for you so there is no need to access the check-in screens. When you arrive at the classroom, a designated leader will check in your student on the iPad.
    
5. Hand sanitizer will be located at each doorway and inside the classrooms. When leaders and children enter the room, they will be asked to wash their hands or use alcohol-based gel.
    
6. Every solid surface will be wiped down during the hour, and a checklist will be used for tracking items when toys/tables are cleaned.
    
7. Individual bags of supplies for each child will be prepared to minimize sharing. Books have been removed from the classrooms at this time.
    
8. Furniture and toys have been condensed to assist with disinfecting. Classrooms will be set up to allow fun and distancing with equipment, toys and tables.
    
9. The Nursery will have gloves for all leaders, and our leaders will be wearing shoe coverings. Swing covers will be replaced each time a child is moved. Bouncy seats will not be used at this time.
    
10. Our 1’s & 2’s large room experience (Fish Bowl/Lions Den) will be transported to their classrooms.
     
11. Our 3’s–Kindergarten large room experience will be divided and chairs will be set up to allow a safe and fun experience.
     
12. Indoor playgrounds will remain closed; outdoor playgrounds can be used and will be cleaned/sprayed upon rotations.
     
13. Our KIDZ Ministry leaders will follow guidelines and procedures to ensure a clean, safe and fun experience for your child.
