Married Adult 1 Attendees "Blessed Beyond Measure"

The Lord has used Prestonwood to show us how to walk with Him. Four and a half years ago, we met here at church. During our engagement, we were told by a few (people) to take some time off from serving in the church to focus on our marriage. However, that contradicted how we wanted to live. The purpose of our lives is to serve Him. So we set the tone for our marriage early on and began serving through our Bible Fellowship class, Just Jesus. We believe our marriage has been blessed because of it. We are so thankful for the classes for many reasons. Some (of our) favorite memories are praying together before class, going to Greece on a mission trip, tutoring at an urban apartment complex every week, cleaning up neighborhoods in south Dallas, meeting at hospitals as new babies are born, and taking part in Bible studies, accountability groups and cookouts. We have seen how the body of believers is made to be interdependent on one another. Romans 12:4-5 says: “For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” The most awesome privilege has been to watch humble servants reach out to one another and help one another using their different spiritual gifts. We thank God daily for the precious lifelong friends He has given us through our class. It has been said, “Do life together.” That is what we intend to do. God has blessed us exceedingly abundantly above all that we could’ve asked for or imagined!
